There was not a battery in the car, I was not going to even try to turn it over, I basically bought it because of the drivetrain, I have 3 S5 turbo motors here.

i was gonna say you got a racingbeat old school boost gauge and boost controller in there very clean car. fix it and make it run and drive it around while you build the 86's !

So we hop in the buddies expedition and head out. Roll into the guys driveway and there it sits, 1988 Turbo II w/ 5 speed.





Awsome find.......not to be a dink though, its a 87 Tll not an 88. All 88 turbos were 10th anniversary additions. Besides that point...wish I came acroos a deal like this too, sweet!!

But this is what I have always known/seen. Im currious to know if its different here (Canada) cause there is no 88's that are not AE here.
