Whos gone through with a rebuild (s4 or s5) with a different trim and had good results? I understand majestic is pretty good with rebuilds. Just looking for some opinions...

Stay away from Majestic. The oil seals they use don't withstand the heat our cars produce. My friend had his 87 turbo done by them. It only lasted about a year. Try BNR or turbonetics.

That's what I was going to say. My Majestic turbo is in need of a rebuild for that very reason, and it was rebuilt only 10K ago.

What's BNR's address these days? Their old site is gone.

I can tell ya soon how my BNR is.. now that the majority of my gremlins are out of the swap it's going to see dyno for fuel tuning.

i have the stage 3 in mine. My real complaint is it was suppose to be a 2 week turn around time total that lasted like a month and half plus. Which is partially my fault for upgrading the compressor housing and what not so I ended up waiting on parts.

Weird...I tried their site yesterday and it didn't work. I wonder if they can rebuild my turbo that was upgraded by Majestic. Only one way to find out.

Is there anywhere to buy just the oil seals for the stock turbo?

Mine cost $850, which Dave at KDR claimed was what Majestic charged him, but I've heard of people getting them done there for $500 or so. I wouldn't pay more than $600 for a rebuild and upgrade, unless you're getting something silly. Don't forget to get your wastegate ported.
