Hey,

Searched the forums for trannies and many speak of rebuilt trannies for around 400-600 bucks.

Where are you finding these? I have searched the web and can only find pages selling rediculously priced new trannies.

I'm looking for a rebuilt 88 N/A manual trannie. I have tried the junkyards and M tired of gambling as this is my second installed and the damn thing is grinding 2nd and 5th.

Any links would be appreciated or... any shops directly in the Los angeles Area.

thanks,

Craig

There's one for ya. Other than that, go see a rotary specific mechanic (there's bound to be quite a few down there) and ask if he, or she I suppose, rebuilds trannies. This way you're sure you deal with someone who knows Mazda transmissions. Even better, find out if they race RX-7's (any generation will do) as they'll definitely be familiar with rebuilding them correctly.

Good luck.

Do you have their actual website? This address (after the spelling correction ) doesn't seem affiliated with anything. At all. Kinda weird site actually.

Can anyone in the So Cal or Nor Cal area recommend a shop or Rebuild reseller?

FLorida is a long way to ship a 78 pound trannie.

Thanks,

Craig

They usually have plenty sitting around. I think they had 5 the last time I checked.

TII trannies, much stronger than NA!!

$350 I think.

I got mine from them 2 years ago and it has been great

Good luck
