Rear Wheel Steering?

yo does anyone know if the FC's have Rear Wheel Steering. A friend of mine who knows like everything about the RX-7 said that they do, and he wasn't talking about the FDs. If you know leave a post. thanks

does he mean fc's are RWD (rear wheel drive)?

ahhhh ur talking about the stock system. yeah they do but its not that great. mazdatrix has something that gets rid of it or something

Yeah they have a toe control system, it is not actually stereing, it just lets the wheels toe in or out corresponding to the g's of the turn to make the rear turn easier.. Lots of people don't like it..cuase it makes the rear feel loose on turns..

is that what that is...I just thought that had something to do with 50/50 weight distribution....how's it work?

It was a half-assed attempt at having a cool gadget. Looked good on paper but in practical application it stuck. This is when the rubber was new. Now that these rubber bits at least a dozen years old are shot to hell. Now they don't even work as they were engineered to.



If you have a FC, do yourself a favor and chuck these bushings. Get the Delrin pieces and enjoy. :bigthumg:
