Hey, what is rarer? The 10th Anniversary, or the GTUs. Some people may consider me lucky since the only two RX-7s I've ever driven have been mine (a GTUs) and a friends (a 10th An.).

My car is much nicer overall, but his turbo engine kills mine, if it starts anyway (he has a problem with flooding; I don't)

 

GTUs since i think only 500 were made.

 

The 1990 GTUs was the rarest production model RX-7, hands down, no questions. Only ~100 were produced, and Mazda won't even admit that.



The 1989 GTUs' were more plentiful than that, and there were 1500 10AE models for the US and Canada alone.

 

What about the yellow 93 whatever it's designation was?

Yeah, but the CYM was only one color of the R1 package. You could divide up the 1990 GTUs' into their respective colors and have even smaller numbers.

 

A 1995 R2 is extremely rare, I'm pretty sure its less than 100
