top of the stock guage is about 7.5 psi or so.

A stock TII should run the 1/4 in low 15s high 14s. With your mods you should be in the 14s easily. The SAFC is easy to install and use. There are only 7 wires to hook up (maybe more with the SAFC II), and you can adjust it in 1000 rpm increments, not 500. What rpm were you launching at? When I ran my 13.2, I launched at about 5000 rpm. And the 40 on the stock boost gauge is 7.735 psi, but that doesn't do you any good because you have a FCD so your stock gauge is off.

That's a contradiction. If your WG is ported, your boost doesn't creep. I have a full exhaust and intake and I rarely go over 6psi.

diddo. i have full exhaust and intake and i'm lucky to creep above 7 psi on my autometer guage in 1st under full trottle. although, i dont have a ported wastegate.

i also did a conversion on my quality TI-89, 400 mmHg = 7.73 psi.

Here's the timeslip info. My scanner is still in a box since I moved. I'm on the left. Right lane was a GM V-8 in some mid-80's Cutlass or Malibu or something.

Something has to be wrong w/ the car because my old 88 non turbo MX-6 ran those times at the strip.

Really? What did you have done to it? My '89 MX-6 was pretty slow, especially in comparison to my TII.
