Well, i put a damn Alpine stereo in my Vert and a CD changer, since the Stcok player would not play my cd's.. Then about a week ago it rained and when I was driving the radio just shut off.. then a few minutes later it came back on.. then a while later it would flash on/off for a few times then shut off.. so I just left it off.
Yesterday I took it all out to check the wiring.. Everything is hooked up correctly, so I checked the fuse, it was fine... Then I checked the wire that connects to the Stereo and it has no power.. So anyone have any Ideas why the power wire on the stero has no power.. |
blown fuse?

One of these days, I'm gonna put a radio in my TII. It's just a hole with a bunch of cut wires now. It just hasn't been a priority. I prefer to listen to the sweet music of that turbocharged rotary... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Check the other end of the wire. Sounds like a bad connection. Very rare on these cars... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

yeah, it has to be a bad wire/switch (if its switched power)

hahaha.. Yeah I guess I will have to check that whole thing out.. Think it may have something to do with the stock pioneer sound system?
|
its possible, maybe its some wierd amp wire?
mike |
I will mess with it tonight... I will disconnect the door speaker amp and try the wire..

I wonder if the rain had anything to do with this..?
