I read in Sport compact car that coleman made an intercooler and rad sprayer for cheap, i was wondering if anyone had adapted the idea for the FC. I had a crazy idea for a 3 way switch to activate it, Off, Manual spray, and Auto. Manual should just spray it constantly, and the auto based off the signal from a temp switch...they did it with a tee fitting into the windshield washer reservior, but i'm looking at finding a junked washer/pump mechanism from anything..Does anyone know how much cooler i might run (88SE, intake and exhaust) with a fine mist on the rad with 75mph incoming air?

Do you autoX? Otherwise it seems like overkill. Stock radiator and fan work quite well.

It seems to me that spraying the stock intercooler with a fine mist of water would help to lower intake temps. I have considered using something like this during drag runs.

No autox, just live in tulsa, ok, where temps reach easily 110 degrees, and looking for any kind of insurance on my engine...stop and go is a pain in that kinda heat.

first thing they will tell you on the track is no leaking liquids on the line. You would be better off to get a CO2 fireextinuisher and douse the intercooler right before the run.

are you talking alcohol into engine or spray over rad? seems a bit more expensive than this ghetto mod..input? Are T2 radiators larger than the NA models?
