I do believe that the hose runs into the firewall and bac out into the engine...not sure though.... if you look at the illustration in the manual it shows that, somewhat.... but I don't know why it runs into the firewall -=/ so I'ma have to try and find out...

ok, I got your answer....the hos runs from the radiator, into the firewall, through the heater core, out the firewall, and into the side of the block below the oil pressure sensor(which is below the oil filter).... good luck with your project

Rxtasy is exactly right I had to replace that hose in my rx once.. And ponder that Q at one time.

Okay if that is the hose to the heater core... I believe you, but where does the hose go from the back side of the intake manifold. It looks like it goes to the heater.

I've never looked at an N/A rotary engine, so I can't figure out what I'm looking at, can you get a bigger picture? the intake manifold on a turbo II and an N/A are way different I believe.... I think they'll have the same basic setup though...i dunno

 I have an N/A i can't tell where the F*** that pciture is taken from. Add another picture that is showing more of the engine. That will help a lot.

Okay I will do another picture. You can just barely see the intake hole for the rear rotor. The upper manifold has been removed. But I will do a bigger picture.
Thanks for your guys help. |
Okay here is I hope a better shot. (Alot of wires from my Haltech are in the way of a good shot..)

hmmmm, well I was right on my guess from the first pic, but on my 88 TII I don't have that hose -=/ guess the intakes are alot different sorry....but my father, mr know-a-lot said that it could to many places (not much help i know) but he said that it could very well run the the heater.... is there a place for the hose to go on the heater? and if so can you see a place for it to come out and be circulated through? I wouldn't suggest hooking it up and trying it, just in case it is air... but try to see if it circulates through and where it circulates to...
|
got a few other questions....does it pump out coolant? and is that the original hose that came on there or did you replace it?
