When I got the racing beat exhaust it was quieter than my fu@#ued up stuck exhaust. The tone ,however, at idle was bad ***. It wasn't loud and it didn't totoallty sound like a rotary. Rotaries tend to sound like a chainsaw but it reallly sounded nice deep but strong even at WOT. Just a nice overall sound. I'd recommend this exhaust to ANYONE. It is the greatest exhaust ever. I give it two thumbs up.

And to the guy who says that it is not totally 3 inch exhaust. It splits in to 2 1/4" so that instead of running into one muffler it has 2 to go though restricting less. Has anyone EVER even heard of any bad remarks of this exhaust anyhow?

Mazdatrix forgot one of my gaskets. But that has nothing to do with the exhaust itself. Mazdatrix sent the gasket the day I called them, so no complaint against them either.

if you got the exhaust system you would need a FCD and/or ported wastegate?

if you have the stock computer, yes you need an FCD, and yes you need to port the wg to keep the psi within safe range <10.
