question about the TB mod

please dont link me to FC3Spro.org or something, i have an 86 N/A and the sites ive seen only support this mod for the TII's, my TB is different than the ones showing in those pages, can somebody direct me elsewhere?

i used that site, u just have to figure it out, they are basically the same, jsut some minor differences

oh,,,, but question, which butterfly am i taking out? the one thats all the way in the front? or one of the two that sit directly over/under each other?

man don't mess that up, I can;t remember off hand, but the instructions are pretty clear on which ones.

I used the directions there for both my cars. The stuff you are removing is pretty much the same. The butterfly that you are removing is the first pair that are alone (looking in the direction the air would flow).

so i am removing the one that is opened by a valve actuator?

thats the one that sits by itself.

yes. It should look something like this after you remove it:

note the holes left behind, thats where the shaft WAS which you are removing. This throttle body has also undergone some porting but is unfinished in the picture... and has yet to visit the welder to get the holes filled.

do they have to be filled? also can i polish it myself? does polishing it make an increase in power/flow?

Yes, you can put a plug in the hole where the shaft was, or use JB weld. Have you gone to FC3spro, and read the instructions? Alot of the questions you have are answered in the step by step provided there. Go through and read all the steps while you have your TB in your hand, then come and ask any questions.
