so...... i want to cuztomize my dash. i have a spare dash to carve into and build on with fiberglas, wood, ecetra

i hate how the controles for the air are.

the question is

does any one know anything about the wireing in the dash as far as what can be installed instead of the stock a/c controles

It might be more trouble than it's worth. The logicon's as they are have a reputation for failure. I suppose the only mod that can't go wrong would be deleting the contols all together.

 

The AC controls are finnicky, you would have to make up your own sets of switches and what not to go with your dash

wire up some fd switches?

 

but are they simple broken curcit switches... or are they attached to chips.... i know the sliding wouldnt be that simple... so....
