im usein the tire jack to raise the car, the floor jack i have is out of commition, and the bricks and stuff is a good idea, i'm gonna go out later and see what i can do, and yes this is a serious question

i got a 3.5 ton michelin floor jack at sams for like 60 bucks, some of the best money ive ever spent.

im a poor man, which is why i dont have many of the thing's i need and improvise ^_^ plus im getting ready to move and cant afford to spend $60 that i dont need to, but probably will once i get settled where im goin

you are working under a car without jack stands? you are a brave man. Maybe if hte ground clearence of an rx7 was 6 inches + I would tempt fate but not when ground clearence is less than your body.

dont have any in good condition, so i dont really have much choice if i want my car to be driveable and i almost alway's have a buddy to spot me to tell me when and if the car start's movein, i may be stupid but im not an idiot,
