Would it be ok instead of removing the air pump to just take the belt off?? ANd also, i have removed all my crank pulleys and forgot the order they go on, can someone send me a pic? thnx

I would highly recommend getting a dual alternator belt pulley, otherwise the belts will creech everytime you give it some gas.

As far as putting the belts back on they will only go on one way.. as I recall the Power Steering belt is the longest, then the AC, then the Alternator belt but don't quote me on that one, you'll be able to figure it out easily.

mine used to squeak like a bitch before i installed the dual belt pulley. it helps alot to have an impact gun around to take the bolt on and off the alternator

You could probably run it with just removing the belt, but I would just remove the pump. If you are still running your cats you might as well hook the belt up and let it do its job. Removing it will simply reduce your cars weight.
