Many people say that they dont like the power steering. I personally cant stand cars without it. I have turning at low speeds, you really have to crank the wheel with two arms. Plus, I find drifting is way easier with PS. Better control.

True true, for road course is great. If you need quick response to steering like for drifting stay with PS. I turn mine off for track and turn it on for street.

Power Steering or No Power Steering, thats personal preference. After my P/S hose blew, it was a PITA for a while until I just got used to it. Now I hardly notice at all. I can turn mine with one hand no problem, and I've got more control if the steering....

I like it better without. You get a lot more "feel" though it does take a lot more input when you're driving hard or at low speeds. When I drive a car with PS now though, I find it "too easy" for my liking and I tend to overdrive. I haven't aggressively drifted, but I would imagine that you'd have to have PS to steer so quickly...no ways around it.

How do you turn it on and off? Just remove the belt, or will that break something?

Thnx

You can unplug the ps computer in the car and it will cut it out most of the way. I cant remember excatly how much or anything but ive done it that way before my self.

I loved driving my car without the PS. Parallel parking didn't even bother me. It really sucked when I drifted though. The wheel always thryed to rip out from my hands. Def not as comfortable.
