I've never heard of propane being used in a gasoline engine. I have heard that it would be dangerous to attempt. However, it is notorious for the diesel freaks. Here is your analogy: propane is to a diesel-engine; what nitrous oxide is to a gasoline-engine. I have seen a 450 HP Duramax that injected propane and there are companies out ther that supply pane kits. Maybe you could talk to one of them about it.

My company spent a year and I dont how much money putting propane on all its gasoline engines, pickups and cars, the system was in place and used for about 8 months, then the company pulled all of the propane systems back out of the vehicles. So, I asked one of our mechanics why all this happened. He said because it cost too much for propane and the vehicles did not perform as well as they did on gasoline. If you do the conversion, good luck.
