Looks nice https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

What colors did the verts come in from the factory?

Black, white, red, a lighter blue, I have seen a silver one but I dont think it was original. All with black tops and either black, charcoal grey, or blue interiors.

I dont think I left any out?
Thanks. I was just thinking I have only seen red and black ones around here. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I see some rust just glancing at things in the engine bay... ZERO rust is a bit misleading...

Some original hose clamps and brackets are a bit rusted, I think people know I meant the body https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Ill replace the .99 cent hose clamps if you want the car so you wont think I mislead you. And some quick touch ups with a can should take care of anything else, thats what happens when a car isnt driven for almost 3 years, the stupid little things rust.

Its more important that the body is rust free isnt it?

*shrug*

pictures of the plainly visible exterior isnt really useful, when brackets and other random parts under the hood are rusting theres likely a decent amount of rust underneath the car also... subframes and rear trailing arms especially seem to corrode, and the 'jack points' on the bottom are often problem areas. I don't think I've found an FC yet that had ZERO rust, mine was pretty clean, similar to yours actually when I bought it... but once I got underneath and started taking things apart plenty of corroded parts were found, and that car had 72kmi on the chassis, and according to dealer was a 'florida car'... but they always say that https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

i'm just skeptical in general :squint:

You have been quite grouchy lately as well. :bigok:

I apologize for using the term zero rust, I meant that for the body, its harder and harder to find a rust free body. I have some extreme close ups of the parts of these cars bodies that normally rust, felt no reason to post them as I only took them to prove to a serious buyer that the car had no problems before painting.

Some sanding or even scuffing and some paint even with a brush can take care of surface rust on frame rails, corrosion on aluminum can be cleaned with something so simple as baking soda and water.

You can peek under a 1 year old and see some light surface rust and aluminum corroding a bit never mind a 15 year old car.

And this car was infact a car from Florida, shipped to Pennsylvania by amtrax and the older woman who was the original owner had run it out of oil from a oil leak she had 2 weeks later, been sitting ever since. Not like a car from Florida is worth anymore money or anything, just it usually implies less rusting from the lack of salt on the roads for the winter.
