Recently, My car has been running a tad wierd. I found out my ACV block off plate was leaking vaccum and was probably why I had not a lot of power and was only pulling 13-15 inches of vaccum at idle. So I sprayed intake cleaner at my block off plate. So I found out one of my bolts was stripped and not sealing right. So I decided to pull the Upper and lower intake manifold and throttle body off. After that, I say why not, i'll pulled the turbo out and port my wastegate. and since I was there, I'll pulled the rats nest out too. So I was like damn, I'm removing a lot of stuff so I might as well remove the Oil metering pump and run premix. So now, I'm polishing my upper intake manifold. I emailed bnr for a turbo hybird and emailed BDCfor a throttle body mod. I decided not to remove the BAC because potietal idle issues when A/C is on, etc..

Things to order & do:

All new coolant hoses

New intake gaskets, BAC

Silicone hoses for the rats nest (not sure where to get the hoses yet)

New fuel hoses

Block off plate for OMP

New injectors

Order a used LIM * looking for one

New fuel pump

turbo hybird *

tb mod *

I'll get some pictures soon. Wish me luck.

God, what have I gotten myself into.

I had my other T2 without AC and when summer time hit, it was too hot to even drive. I'm glad I have AC otherwise, I would dread driving my car when its hot. Plus I already retro fit it to R134a

It' fairly simple. You will feel confident when you know people on this forum is here to answer questions. If you're unsure about something. Just do a search. A lot of these topics have been covered before. All you need to have is the tools and willingness to get your hands dirty.
