From what i have heard spacers are absolutely needed. Some roll their fenders.

i made the dash out of fiberglass, basically i taped up cardboard up there and then laid fiberglass over it im currenty working on the left side the part that holds the gauges i will post pics later this week im pretty excited about it it looks hot! anyways i decided id rather create my own dash after ptllind a few dashes out i thought to myself "**** this dash is heavy and for what!" so i decided to make my own with a few goals in mind lightwieght, more interior room, easy to remove, and better placement oh yeah its a gps kit

How are you actually mounting the new dash to the car? I like the idea.

yeah, id also like to know how you mounted it. im planning on making my dash and console out of carbon fiber.

the middle is attatched with one bolt on the top and one on the left and one on the right side (same places the stock dash was bolted on) it is very sturdy i have just started on the left side it is still a work in progress

as you can see it is a work in progress i have to put it togather piece by piece and make sure it fits also have to make places for everything to bolt up but im pretty excited i think its gona look hot!
