I was wondering if there is a programable computer for 2nd Gen RX-7 Non turbo. I really dont want to spend the money for an AEM Stand Alone, just a computer to insert custom burned chips. my friend has one for his honda, and his works fine. i will be installin a turbo motor soon, but want to play with my computer now. Any help will be greatly honored!

Thanx,

Harold

i checked out their sites and all they do is reprogram your existing computer. i want a computer that i can burn custom chips for or something i can tune via lap top. Just like a stand alone, but without installing a stand alone.

.............and I want the world on a silver platter.

If you are going to go threw all of that trouble of wanting to tune, get a damn standalone and be done, for all the money youare going to spend jacking around with it you could have bought a used Haltech or Microtech or something like that and been done for under 1k.

i was reading and came across a company named techtom. the site doesn't give much detail for our cars but give them a call if you feel up to it. basically your options are to get a new prom installed or a standalone....
