Ok my top leaks but while the car was sitting at my parents house i guess it got worse i pulled the seat out today and found that its cover in water from the back behind the seat to the floormat. Is therre anyway i can get rid of this water? i dont have a wet/dry vac so any suggestions?

remove the padding under the carpet back there, it helps it to dry
out faster, other then a wet vac just leave it out in the blazing hot
Florida sun and it will dry out in no time, leave it with the top up and the
windows cracked open a bit so it gets nice and hot.
Home Depot sells a cheapie wet dry vac called "the stinger", its like
$30.
Or try a heat gun/hair dryer if you are a patient boy.
Congrats, you have a true vert!

yeah after hours of sitting on the door sill with a rag soaking up water and ringing it out i finaly managed to get most the puddles out. I ringed the padding out and let it dry a little threw everything back together in 15 minutes(not the first time ive done this) and parked the car in the garage. It was going to rain again which it is right now so i figured it would be best parked there over night. Probably the first time this car has been in a garage. I'll check into that cheap wet/dry vac.

funny because the canvas guy asked me if I wanted him to make
those covers, he wanted to charge me $200 ******* dollars for it, so I
told him no ( last year ), I guess he felt bad and asked me a few weeks
ago if I was still interested in him making them
Basically its a cover that only covers your top, not the whole car, who wants to deal with putting a cover on the whole car everyday?
You can throw it in the trunk or behind the seat when not in use, and it will keep water out of the car.

full cover is not good to put on the car dirty, or when the car is already wet, there lies the problem, or if the car is left in the street, or at work, who wants a full cover on the car then?

I seen this in a corvette catalog after I got my brainstorm idea, take in mind I got my brainstorm idea 5 years ago, just never bothered, lol.Mine would not have the straps going all the way under the car, mine was to have plastic hooks to go under the door handles, tenax fastners to go where the boot normally snaps, and velcro straps to go around the wipers.
