Price On A T2
Hey there, i am looking forward in purchasing my first RX7
I want a T2 and my question is just, what is the "normal" price, on a good condition T2. I mean i looked on Ebay, but the prices there go from like 800 $ for a crappy one, to like 3500 $ and that is like perfect, so i don't know, i rather know what is about normal to spent on a car like that, before i go out and just buy one, and find out, that i was ripped of
Thanks in advance

Well the price isn't really an indicator of a good or bad car but can help. I payed $2,500 for my '89 TII with a funked up engine. A little steep but it had no rust and I was looking for over 4 months already. I'm still happy with the purchase. I've seen a lot of really nice low mileage TIIs go for about $3000 (usually s4, s5's tend to give people boners...) but those are almost always not where you live for some reason. I've seen TIIs go for a few hundred (1revvin7's for example).
For around $3,000 you can get a really decent TII, though, most of the time.

yeah s4's (86/88) are always easy to find. most of the time its the 87's. s5 (89-91) usually go for a lot more. up to 5k for a decent one. good luck in your search for one. there are also 10th AE which are anniversary editions. only 1500 made. all white exterior w/ black interior. those can go for a little bit more too
I agree with the 3000 figure for a pretty decent car. Maybe push that up to 3500. Plan on spending some time looking. In the past two years, I have seen a total of three cars for sale in this area, and I bought two of them. Both are 88's. I have never seen an S5 TII for sale or otherwise. They are pretty damn rare, at least around here.
