Just a curiosity question and not meant to sabotage the thread, but what would be the weight difference between an aluminum hood and a carbon fiber hood?

Cost difference?

The hood is steel, and the fender is dented where I didn't see before (was looking mostly at the hood before). Well, the search continues.

i.didnt.do.it, if you feel like checking out that other place, that'd be awesome.

just polish the underside of the hood, that'd pretty dope...but time consuming.

I found a guy selling a gold fender on e-bay, who's in Atlanta (~4 hours from me). I e-mailed him, and he says he has 4 aluminum hoods, $150 for one. Looks like I found the winner! Thanks so much to everyone else that was helping out, and your gracious offers, banzai and i.didnt.do.it.
