just polish the underside of the hood, that'd pretty dope...but time consuming.

al hoods are the way to go. I have a pretty good shape one I am selling.
I just upgraded to a tii al hood in prep for my tii conversion on my vert. |

New aluminum hood retails for 900.00USD, I just bought a new one a week ago and they said there were only three new ones left in the States, 100.00 for an Alum hood is a steal!

I found a guy selling a gold fender on e-bay, who's in Atlanta (~4 hours from me). I e-mailed him, and he says he has 4 aluminum hoods, $150 for one. Looks like I found the winner!
