i never turned my TII off at the gas station. i was an idiot, kinda stupid to leave it on. only reason y i wouldnt turn it off is because of leaky injectors and it would take a while to start the car again. but then i found the egi trick and started turning it off. i didnt wanna chance blowing up anymore

well if u have a problem with ur motor flooding then u do this fuses are located on the right side of the engine bay. that is only do this if u have leaky injectors. so ive been told

Like Mike said- do the belts, hoses, and thermostat, coolant, and I would do them like a month or so before hand so you know there arent any issues.

i stayed with the car at all times and had people looking at me and telling me to turn it off. its kinda embarassing

I drove my TII for 18 hours straight once going from here to as far north in Wisconsin as you can possibly go.

hrmmm, dont shut it off? even when all the gas stations clearly say: YOU MUST SHUT OFF ENGINES. (not that im one to obey silli signs, like SPEEDLIMIT 55MPH)

If you had a mechanical temp. gauge in your car you would see just

how hot it gets when you shut it off after going a steady 65-76mph for a few hours, just leave it running, use a credit card for gas and you wont have a problem with anyone bothering you. [/quote]

I wired my electric fan to be on at all times, it would run for about 4 minutes after shutting the car off on really hot days, made me feel better about shutting it off after driving hard on the highway going to my wives apt when she was in chicago. The thermostat built into it would shut off hte fan once the temp went down. on a normal day it only ran for a couple minutes, only once did I find the battery a bit tired and I think it was when I had the thermostat adjusted too low so the fan was running too much.
