I think my sunroof fell of the track. The passanger-side slides open fine, but the drivers wont budge. It just pops up alittle bit. I just dropped the roof liner and the whole sunroof assembly to try to get a better look, and to see if the clip was broke. But from what i can see nothing is broke or missing. Does any one know how to put it back on track, or should i just take it to a dealership, or spring for a whole new sunroof?

go to the junk yard and find your self one CHEAP (i did that... diff. color now but what ever it works) the dealership might charge you say...200 or more dolors for a new sunroof... your best bet is to just get one for 50 at a junk yard. if you by chance just get the roof and not the motor i have a good motor you can have for cheap.

I thought mine was broken for a while. But then I just took the time to get some electrasol (electric parts cleaner) and cleaned the tracks to a spotless shine, and then took some white lithium grease and greased that bad boy up like an easter ham. Your driver's side track just MAY be stuck in all that gunk, but I could be wrong, try that out before you go spending money.

Come to mention it there is alot of gunk in it. I'll try to clean it up. By the way did you take the tracks off when cleaning, or did you just spray some cleaner on? Thanks for the tips.

Nah, you don't need to take it off the tracks. All I did was get a paper towel (or Q tips for the more precise cleaning) and spray that gunk all up in there. Initially the electrasol will take off most of the grease, the paper towel or Q tip or whatever is just for the tougher stuff. All I did was popped the sunroof up (by pushing the button back) and then moved it back all the way to clean up those rails, and then moved it foward right before it closed to clean the rear. After that make sure the cleaner has dried up all off of it and then grease it really well.
