well, i've put a quart of fluid in it the past 3 days, and on the way from san antonio to college station, it went out. i drive into town, and it's dead, manual to turn, just like my old NA, maybe harder to turn.

question: repair or remove?

i dont know where the leak is. i dont see anything dripping from the lines, pump, or attachment locations. i looks more like its coming from the rack. all i really see is stuff dripping from teh bottom of the car.

i've got autocross tomorrow, and i still want to do it. i'm used to driving with PS, so i might just bring 2 quarts to the track and refill a lot (although that might dirty up the track), or i could just cut the belt and run without it.

suggestions for now? i'll probably go with frestylefc3s' technique and plug the holes and remove the pump in a couple of weeks. will cutting the belt work as a temporary solutions?

is it hard to turn? my 86 NA wasn't bad, but this is hard right now.

maybe that's because pump is still hooked up, still running, but there is now fluid in there. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif
