I want to get a Power FC for my TII. JT-Imports has the FC + commander listed on their site for $1250. Is it possible to run a Power FC for a S5 TII on a S4 car? I think a while back J9FD3s mentioned swapping one or two parts from a S5 TII would allow the PFC to work. Anyone know anything? Maybe Jason at JT-Imports can find out from someone in Japan?

No, it can't be done. Not from a stock S4. Reason is because of the OMP...manual vs. electronic. The PFC for FC is actually an FD3S PFC with an adapter to fit into the stock wiring harness of an S5 TII. If you were to put an S5 engine/wiring harness into your S4, then it'll work...

the pfc doesnt care about the mop though, it would be a matter of wiring it up. it seems like you need at least the datalogit to set up the ecu though

So basically more trouble than its worth? I wouldn't think the OMP would be a problem since you the mechanical OMP on my S4 should work no matter what.

the pfc is great for the fd because it drops right in and the car will start hot and cold, and idle. on an s4 its the same install effort as any other sandalone, and they are easier to get programming access to.

For the same amount of money you can buy a Haltech. And, I'm not too sure on this, but I think the Haltech is better than a PFC.
