Thumbs up

I want to powder coat my intake, exhaust manifold, down pipe, and my turbo.

I wanted to know wopuld it be safe to powder coat the turbo itself.

I would appreciate any help or advice in regards to this post.

Thanks to all and a Merry Christmas

I guess you could powder coat the turbo although I'm hoping you're talkingabout just the compressor housing. The intake manifold will work but I don't think the powdercoating will withstand the heat of the ex manifold, DP, and turbine side of the turbo. If I were you I'd polish them. Cheaper and looks tight.

My dad's friend got some tight wheels for his Ducati and got them powdercoated. The wheels actually warped from heating it. It was a big pain in the ***.

I would agree with above.. the turbine I would say no.. Are you familiar with powdercoating processes at all? But everything else can be powdercoated on a car... But you could ceramic coat your turbine back and there would be more benefits with that I.E. scavenging a few HPs, keeping the heat where it belongs and increasing thermal efficiency...
