ok the smallest pulley oh the power steering pump that puts tension on the belt at the top of the power steering pump, well the bolt that goes through the pulley that holds it on broke and its basically rigged with a bolt i had laying around, can i just buy this bolt at a mazda dealer?or do i have to buy say the whole power steering pump assembly or like the small pulley assembly?i know putting another one on like i did isnt gonna work to long but it works for now,the bolt has a head with like a grove on the end so it slides up and down the tensioner when you tighten that bolt, can anyone help me at all,by any chance could i just take off the power steering pump and basically have no pwer steering or would the rack burn up from having no power steering pump, doesnt really bother me if i dont have any power steering had a DEL SOL S model before.thanks for the help

You can buy that from a dealer probably $5. The bearings in my tension pulley went out, then i replaced it again and the same thing a grinding sound, so i just scaped it, and i wil never go back

that same damn bolt broke on mine and the dealer I think wanted like $13. Luckily, one of his mechanics went through his extra's and found one for me no charge. Its hard to find anything like it at a hardware store. You might want to check a junkyard.

Its hard to find ANYTHING metric threads in a hardware store. I broke the same damm bolt on mine as well when I did the belts. In the future I know to spray everything down the day before with penetrating oil. I bet the bolt was kinda hard to turn the whole time, then it snapped on you.

The Pep Boys in Lindenhurst isn't too good, but the Hicksville store is usually very good.
