I spent the better part of today scraping my seals out of my housing and contemplating buying a parts washer. I have been using a bin to clean my parts in, but it kind of sucks. You could just use whats in the parts washer, kerosene, or did you mean to let them steam clean the parts?

whats the best for parts cleaning? i used engine degreaser and it sucks...
and would boiling the parts hurt? like the housings, manifold, etc...?? it might sound ridiculous but i'll give it a shot someday |

Kerosene is a excellent parts cleaner. Ok Vosko, now Ill bring a convertible over, drop that engine in, and Ill be on my way. Its ok if its broken.
