I'm replacing a cracked pintle cap on one of my injectors from the AE. I'm wondering how the hell do you get the cap off an injector without breaking it? I am robbing the cap from an injector in the vert. Mazdatrix's web site says "...they like to "disappear" while you have the injectors out of the engine." They make it sound like it'll just fall off, this one will spin freely, but not pull off. I need to get the car back together and running within the next 4 hours. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

i pulled one off.... just did it very carefully with needle nose pliers

 

I was trying with just my fingers, I didn't want to **** it up. I guess I'll try that, and if it breaks I have 3 more I can try and pull.
