Thats very odd as I see almost no detrimental effects from pulling them apart. Plus a rebuild it basically impossibly without splitting the halves apart.

yeah its really wierd, there are no split calipers (my tr3 is the same way) that you can pull apart https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif
