I bought her last weekend. 1989 TII for $2,500 with 84k miles. The body is in great shape absolutely no rust and the chassis is rust free too. I bought it with a blown motor in central Iowa. I towed her home with a Uhaul trailer behind my friends 4runner. On the way back the ******* automatic tranny overheated. It was leaking fluid so a farmer was nice enough to give me a ride into town and I bought a case of ATF. We were able to make it home then (200 miles) without any problem going 40 miles per hour!!!!! Anywho... I immediately started to work on it and this is how far i got on it.

the paint on the rims aren't very good so this is the start of repainting them My trans tech teacher is cool enough to let me use the lab whenever i have free time and they have a sand blaster so it really helps cut time and give it a nice finish.

Cool, how much gas did you burn through on the way home?

It was like $130 there and back. I could have had another friend drive down there with me in his flatbed truck but i woiuld have had to have waited another week. I couldn't wait any long so i just rented a trailer. It cost like $250 with everything (trailer, gas, ATF, etc.).
