I don't know alot about rebuilding a rotary, so-- whats so f*d up about it?

If the housings are deeply scratched, they are garbage. You can only resurface them so far, before they go beyond their limit.

If it is possible to use the housings from my old car where would be the best place to get it resurfaced?

the S5 stuff is all different than S4.... use all S5!

go talk to schalliwag on the rx7club.com he is very close to finsihing his resurface housings stuff... goto the rotary perforamnce section and look for the longest thread u can find

The wear marks on the housing faces are normal and ok, as long as there are no scratches or gouges. If you run your hand over them they should feel smooth.

yeah all the side housings are smotth to the touch. It's just the rotor housing and the rotor that are scratched.

you should find a good used rotor, and but 2 new rotor housings
