Take the car's VIN # from the chassis, inside the engine bay, left side of firewall , and cross referene the year at carfax.com. At least that is something you can do free if you want to verify year.

C
I dont think there is a need to verify the year, who would convert thier

S5 into a S4 base model? The title is the important thing, as if he has one.

If its straight and rust free its worth $200-$300

Judging by that incredibly ugly wing, I say he beat the crap out of

it thinking it was a race car, so who knows what is working driveline wise

but thats just my opinion.

Get it running then sell it if you still want a T2.You'll sell it for more than you paid depending on the shape of the motor.

even if he doesnt get it running hecould part it out like someone else said or...... he could keep so that when he gets a t2 he would have some extra body and int parts for himself..... IMO

Wanna get the car free?

Give him $500, take that park bench off the back, sell it to the city for $500, and you got yourself a free rx7

$500 believe it or not, isn't that cheap. you can do better, and honestly i think u should. judging by that wing, that car had the **** kicked out of it. he also lied to you about the s4 vs s5. Offer him $200 and i'd refuse to go above $300 Absolute Max.

best of luck, and hope the person really needs money.

if they really need cash, they'll get rid of it fast.

I wonder how many rx7's have been sold as "not running" simply because they were flooded.

If you buy the car tell us if it was flooded. THat would be hilarious. THe easiest way to unflood a car is to push down the gas pedal right before you turn the key. Then it'll choke the engine and start right up. I hope that it is only flooded, that would be a steal.

Nick got his vert for 200 cuz the guy thought the engine was blown... turns out it was a dead air sensor that was causing the problems.
