You can run into cooling problems with a FMIC and a heavy duty radiator, basically the radiator needs ALOT of air to pass thru it and with a FMIC blocking some of that air the car runs a bit hotter when underway and the car is relying on air flow only for cooling. A stock radiator would probably cool the car better if you are running a FMIC, or at least a radiator that isnt over-kill.

As long as your FMIC is not too big >2core then your fine, there are plenty of ppl who use them w/o cooling issues. V-mounts are ungodly spendy.

actually 13bAce car ran a bit warm while under way, we both think it was because his radiator was too thick and wasnt getting the proper flow to cool it.

Yea I remember that, he did have one big as rad. Well I will find out. What size core was he running, for the fmic? i remember shaolin racing have no problems with his stock rad and some big fmic. Also if you have a big mouth front bumper that will help a lot, and a vented hood.

Was it a red and yellow car with fender flares? If so that is Steve O'Blenes (sp.) who runs in B prepared.
