So he will be testing to find out if what he is heard is true. Whether it will stand up marinally/much/not at all better than not having any type of hardening process, or process that claims to harden. What's wrong with that?

Its not a hardening process, its to reduce friction.

Yes, Old skool Housings. I decided to run a late model front iron in order to run the larger oil pump.

Yes, Already verified with the lapping shop that the epoxy is ok to lap
