I drove Jims brothers TII, I want it now, well not NOW, but I hope he sells it after new years or so and Ill be closing on the house and have a place to put it. Why bother painting your car, it wont run for very much longer, lol. I told you a price, your car has a decent amount of body damage, if it was a straight up paint job, it would be alot easier, plus the car is black, and EVERY imperfection shows up with a black car.
His TII is one of the most "normal" TII's you'll find around here. <_<

I agree with Rob. All of that extra body work will take ALOT of time. I would guess that a shop would charge at least $3000+ for a GOOD job.
That is really depressing to hear you say that. Far more money has been put into the body of my car than engine work. I'd say roughly 30% more. Then again, there is nobody worth a **** to do labor or parts into my car as well as I could do. Other than Rotary Performance, which is 200 miles away, and the closest shop. However, good body shops are a dime a dozen around here.

Damn that sucks!! =(
His car needs alot of body work before they would even think about paint. If all the car needs in paint then I would say about $2000 would be average.

for just paint on a tII i would charge about

$1200-$1500 depending on condition,,,oh and also depending on color,,,and if you would want to change the cars color completely (including under hood etc.etc.) with body work ,,,depending on the amount of,,,it shouldnt be $3000 but i would have to see it before naming a rock solid price,,,,,

Leo

P.S. my cars paint job is worth about $8000(well thats what a customer would pay for it(but i would do it for cheaper, much cheaper))

other than the exhaust and a few other minor things ,,, my 86 is stock

looks like someone needs a l/hs taillight

still would have to see it in person,to estimate,,,and thats a bad spot ,right in the wheel arch,,,,and most of all i wouldnt touch a cars body work(personal opinion) before i get a body kit,,,if you plan to get one that is

when the car ran i was driving it like that since february. body work is the least of my concern on my cars. there has to be someone somewhere that will fix that for like $500. i'll ask judge ito's body shop

$1200-$1500, IM guessing no primer, or spot priming with wet on wet primer? And you wouldnt take the car apart, or wet sand and buff it? Single stage as well?
