Has any one done any body work and know the paint code for saphire blue? Also can anyone recommend a good site to purchase paint? Price?

isnt it 5a? koseki blue?, its on the vin tag on the firewall

Its the same color as the 10th an miata. Just go to a dealership and look.

yeah 5a!

is koseki the official color or saphire?

is that all i need to purchase paint? just tell a supplier 1986 mazda rx7 5a and they can help?

Dealerships will just sell paint to joe smoe off the street? I dunno, I never matched paint before.

the miata is a different saphhire blue, its 2p, actually its a lot nicer.

if you go to a paint store and give them the year and color code they can get you paint

go to car quest they are pretty good with finding you the right paint

My 87 GXL is Sapphire blue. I can look for you. Where is the VIN tag on the firewall and what am i looking for?

I just checked the VIN tag and the Paint is 5A. My car is an 87 GXL that was listed with Sapphire Blue metallic paint.
