so...it sounds like my fan is crap?.....i can't tell, but thats what i thought...because it only overheats at low speeds...or when i'm sitting at stop lights

well do you have the fan shround installed?



check the fan clutch?



I'd get the stock setup working before I went and tried changing to an electric fan, otherwise you might just be adding more variables and making it more difficult to fix.

okay...so correct me if i'm wrong...the fan clutch is connected to the actual fan....if it is..u spin the fan to see... i did this and the fan didn't spin completely freely...gave some friction...so i don't think it is gone..and i do have the fan shrouding...also, what temp should me idiot gauge read...normally it reads about 1/2
