are there any members that bought their FC new from the lot back in the 80's and early 90's and still own the car today?

I bought mine from a guy who did that. put 213k miles on it too

 

There may be 1 or 2 on this forum. I am the 2nd owner. Bought my 89 in 96 and have had it ever since.

 

I am the second owner the original owner sold it off to a dealership. I stole it from the dealership on E-bay. 115k original everything other than a refreshen at 80k.

 

ZenRXSeven is the second owner of his 90 TII. It's only got about 40k miles on it as well. THe previous owner traded it in for a Wrangler...shame

 

I bought mine of of the origonal owner in 91 it was an 87 T2 with 53K on it. I have ALL of the records for it. The guy was **** as hell, but god i love having those records.

 

mines an 86 and im the 3rd owner, last owner had it for 2 years.

 

I have my car for 11 years now.

 

I am pretty much an original owner. My father bought our 88 N/A from the dealership, and when I turned 16, I turned over a bunch of money I had saved and now the car is mine. So, it's been in the family ever since it was purchased. I got it with just over 32k miles, now it has 55k. I just wish I had more money to put into it, and that I could drive it more often (i go to college out of state now). Also, I really wish my mom hadnt convinced my dad into getting the N/A over the TII
