Well Last night I tried to install my corksport cat back. But when I tried to unbolt the y pipe off from the main cat i noticed that there was no where to unbolt it off from. So basically from the y-pipe all the way to the header is one piece. So i gotta replace my cats.

I heard using the racing beat pre-silencer makes the corksport significantly quieter can anyone back this up?

So Im planning to use my stock header with the racing beat Catalytic Converter Replacement Pipe with Presilencer and the corksport cat back.

Does anyone have this setup and if you do how is it?

I have the RB pre silencer with the RB exhaust. It is QUIET! It has a nice note to it as well.

The RB pre Silencer is well worth.

If you have the money the RB headers are a good investment.

is there a dyno graph for the Rb headers. I've looked at the corksport header and it says theres a 14 hp gain.

You will want a presilencer no matter what. Even if you have cats because it helps tone up the exhaust and doesn't make a huge difference in flow. RX-7's sound like crap without a cat or presilencer and just a muffler. Spend the money and do it right.

I currently have a corksport catback and I also want to get an RB header and a high flow cat, but I wish I could hear it first. Not sure if it will do the whole 'being street legal thing' though.

I had a custom 3" turboback exhaust no cats or anything.

Got 1 ticket only.... suprised I didn't get more than that.

Major flameage! I loved pissing off tail gaters. My neighbors didn't like it to much either coming back from racing at 2am letting the car sit while the turbo timer counted down lol.

So you definatly want atleast 1 cat and presilencer or is one or the other good? For keeping a good healthy rotary sound.
