My 86 gxl---I am not talking about a 3800 hesitation, but right about there at full throttle,my car starts to take a **** and will not come back around. It feels like some one stuck rags in the tail pipes right at about 4000 rpm at full pedal. Its starts to spit ,and burp and **** and will not hardly move.If I stick it in neutral and rev it up its fine.If i slowly give it gas it still will not climb hardly above 4000 rpm.The car has no cats so thats not it.Any ideas.I just replaced the plugs hoping--but that did nothing.---help me out

What is the condition of your six ports and secondary injectors. Mine had no power past 5k. secondaries dripped, and the six port shafts would not rotate.

How is your fuel filter and fuel pressure?

The connectors for the secondaries are under the black rubber intake tube, passenger side in the upper intake you can't miss the two injectors... Also how's the fuel filter? If not sure, definetly replace it.
