Ok in the morning when I turn on my car when it goes up to 3K the oil pressure goes to 60psi as the reves comes back down it goes to around 30 After it warms up at idel and low throttel the gauge reads 0 ??? could the gauge be fucked up? I dont think it has pump problems cause I left the front oil cooler line like 1/4 of a turn loose and it threw oil all over the place ??? Any help would be appreciated.

i dont know, try a different gauge

by the way, if you post a question at 1am, there is no need to bump it at 9am.

Is this on the stock gauge? Ive never had experience with the stock gauge ( always had an aftermarket one of some sort... ), but if its like other stock gauges, it wouldnt suprise me if it read 0.

If its an aftermarket gauge, make sure the gauge is accurate, and if it is, STOP driving your car and figure out your problem.

The stock gauges are junk! My stock one on my Fd reads 0bar when the aftermaket one is above 4 bar. (bar 14.7x)

I had the same symptoms (stock guage)...I just blame the sending unit or guage....when I stepped on it though..the oil pressure would shoot up, but at idle it'd go down to zero soemtimes..

This can be symptomatic of the thermo oil pellet failing. I had similar readings, 60/30 when cold, 45/15 when warm, sometimes less. Replaced the thermo pellet and now I get consistent 60/30 cold or warm.

I agree Henrik...but in the morning, when my car would start to warm up, the oil pressure would sit at 30 psi no matter what RPM, then when it got to 1/4 temp (OT) it would go back to 60 psi at about 2500RPM. Change the thermo plug anywway with fc3s.org, its cheap and easy, and good insurance.
