what about bending some small diameter pipe like the brake line style, but I guess a bit smaller.. and soldering or welding on the fittings..

might work if you got it on there good enough mike says its low pressure so it would probably be alright.

replacing them is the best option, they don't seem to get brittle for at least 100k
