Every time I clean the car something breaks. I reworked my amplifier cables new connections and all put every thing back together, every thing was perfect better than before. Cleaned up some more vacume, armor all, exterior wash, little spot engine cleaning, Evertyhing was perfect. Took my friend home and while parked out side his house I had the radio on low, and the dome lights on all the sudden I here a click from under the dash and radio and dome lights go out I go damn I blew a fuse.
Go to put in a new fuse and it fries to. Im like hell nahh I got a short, crap crap! ! ! I Looked at the re wire I did on the dome lights everything looked fine, Took out the radio to inspect wires looked fine now what, Man I cant belive this I just got my alt and now I cant even use it cause my bass is dead, i was crusing home 15 min drive with the voltage at a continus 15.3 volts.

All I can tell you is anything beyond 14.5v is not good. Usually a bad regulator in the alt or the exciter in the alternator is not getting enough juice from the two wire plug or the wires are shorting out there or swapped by accident if you did a swap alt.
Are the idot lights turning on and staying on????

I would say you overlooked something when working on the car, maybe
a connection came loose or something, check everywhere you worked
for a clue, maybe a wire came off and made contact with something
else.
