i finally got my haltech e6k in (yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!!), after waiting for 2 and half weeks... the install starts this weekend, 48 hours in a weekend, who wants to start the pool on how many of those hours I'ma spend? :tounge: also changing BOVs to a greddy type S, doing a tune up, and getting the damned metal rim out of my CAT that rattles unbelievably.... HOPEFULLY my 7 will be back and kicking *** by monday.....

haven't got my laptop in yet, the company i ordered it from was in the process of moving when i ordered it and are really backed up on orders (2 f***ing months?!?!?!?!)...so I will use the shop PC to get it running.....

WISH ME LUCK

Take your time, don't rush it, Read the manual a few times and memorize it. If you do everything right, there will be no wires to check if it doesn't work. I took my time and the car started the first time.

Anyone with a HalTech pass their State Emissions?

I realize this is an oxymoron, but I wanted to ask.

I've got a Haltech and wondered if it would be worth it to try to pass my state emissions or not. (I'd have to add a CAT).

Thanks

as far as emmissions, I'm in texas, you just give them an extra 20 dollars and they slap a sticker on your car, no big deal... how strict are the emmissions where you live? ours down here aren't strict at all, mainly cuz we don't have a huge problem with smog YET... they are suppose to start the strict emissions testing within a couple years, but still, 20 bucks and you got a sticker...

$20 for a sticker? WTF? You giving the emissions guy a $20 bribe and he passes you?

I've heard that Brian Cain(CA) and Gordon Monsen(PA) passed with an E6K.
