Well, I am now an Official RX7 owner.. I got my 90 Vert on Saturday and have been driving it around all weekend.. I would always read about how good these cars handle or how nice they are and stuff like that.. Now I know why.. Geez.. This thing damn Near makes me horny.. even on the worn suspension in my car it handles beautifully.. I took it to my buddy's shop and swaapperd the lil donut wheel for a full size wheel.. and got a highflow cat put in it.. And the car handles lovely.. Since I am used to driving the pickup I take it easy, but then I remember I am in an RX7 so I step on it and take the cures at 2 or 3 times the posted speed with out a problem.. Damn I luv it.. Can't wait till I get the headers and exhaust. and start tuning the Suspension..
While back at the shop.. A few guys were there.. one guy owns an FC.. He was surprised at how smooth the engine on this vert sounds... Everybody likes the car.. Another guy who now owns a 944 took it for a spin, and came saying he wishes he never sold his old FC, cuz now he remembers how fun it was to drive.. That makes me feel great...
So anyways.. on the way home on the freeway an accord wanted to play. so I put her in fourth and took of.. from 80 all the way to 110.. he backeed of.. I kept going.. hehehe.. Felt lovely.. smooth.. A bit shaky, but that is due to all the different tires.. So I get off to drive to my brother's house in Inglewood.. and a Porsche wanted to play.. I bet he didn't push it hard.. cuz he stayed back.. Wuss..... so I get on Crenshaw Blvd.. Popular spot for Lowriders.. going down the street and I hear a loud *** V8 exhaust.. A fookin camaro on 20's.. Looks nice.. the caddy on 20's ... both pass me up.. I guess it was a group of friends.. then their third friend pulls up beside me.. I looked over... It's a ****** white S5.. Damn.. I stop it.. he does too...Doin about 70, before we have to slow down cuz we caught up to his friends who had go up ahead.. Not really a race Just an encounter, but.. I have a feeling I am gonna love this car...
