Nos?

with a Dry you would actually have to increase the fuel supply. An E6K won't add the fuel, that has to come from the system itself, however when the nitrous is activated it will retard your timing to whatever you set it to. With the stock system, you could get bigger injectors, but when you're not on the bottle you would be running rich and wasting excess fuel that you don't need. IF the dry system is cheap, then go for it. you could add a fuel solenoid and a few lines. really minor things to convert the dry to wet. But i would go wet. Nitrous DOES NOT give you horsepower. It's the ability that you can burn more fuel that does. So if you go dry.........somehow more fuel will have to be delivered.

I must have missed something someone has a E6K with NOS. Yes you can do a dry system with the E6K as the E6K can trigger an alternate map with the aux inputs. The problem with triggering your NOS through a Haltech is the Haltech makes you keep the motor running for 2 minutes before it will be active (warm up period)... Which sucks for drag racing.
Wet systems are the way to go. Trigger with the WOT and arming switch. You do need to retard the timing (1-2 degrees) which is done manually. I don't think the Zex or NOS will do that.

so your saying getting a wet system is better than a dry??? i am already getting bigger injectors on my car but what is it that i herd it wastes more fuel at idle??????
is it a big increase?
is it a big increase?
The difference in the wet and dry kits is the wet kits inject fuel and nitrous oxide into the intake, as where the dry systems just inject nitrous into the intake. The wet kits make me feel a little safer since they are throwing in fuel with it to ensure a rich enough mixture.

ok, basically, the best thing to do, is tune your car to run properly, the 99% of the time that you are not going to be spraying, then, do something to make sure that you have enough fuel the 1% you are spraying, the easiest way to do this is to get a wet kit, which will add fuel with the nitrous, it is much safer, and not much more expensive, if at all, a harder way, would be to have a haltech, with upgraded injectors, and just have lots of fuel dialed out most of the time, and switch maps when you engage the nitrous, this would work, it would just cost a couple grand more than a wet kit. but, you would have a haltech then, which is a Good Thing (tm)

well i do have a port job done to my 13b and my stock injectors, i am now trying to upgrade to turbo injectors to maybe even it out a lil and get more out of the port and polish job i had done.
I will be getting NOS but thats later on.
the fuel regulator is a big considerationa and i think i might need it but haltech is a little too much money
